Life Events and Changes
You must complete your benefits enrollment within 30 days from your initial eligibility or qualifying life event date. Otherwise, you can enroll or make changes during the bi-annual open enrollment period for coverage effective January 1 of the next calendar year.
MID-YEAR CHANGES
You can make changes to your elections during the year if you have a qualifying life event, such as:
Birth/Adoption of a child
Marriage or Divorce
Spouse/Dependent loss or gains benefits
