Pregnancy and Parental Leave
Becoming a parent is an exciting time, but also a time of great transition for families during which professional and personal demands can conflict. Corby and Hiram Walker are committed to promoting work-life balance by providing eligible employees with pregnancy and/or parental leave benefits as set forth below. Available to all new parents – including adoptive parents, as well as fathers and same sex partners.
Fertility Benefit
Benefits through Greenshield offer participants a lifetime fertility drug benefit of $10,000.
Scholarship Program
Each year, one scholarship (up to a 4-year term) will be granted to the child of a regular full–time employee who has at least one year of service with the company.
The grant provides $3,000 per year (maximum of $12,000 over 4 years) to the student provided they meet the program requirements each year. Additionally, the employee must be employed with the company at the time each award cheque is mailed out.

Students are eligible to apply if they are currently completing their final year of high school (or CEGEP in Quebec) and plan on attending university or college this year (students must not currently be attending university or college).
